Sample One-Pagers for Your Memoir/Autobiography
Please note that these samples may not include the exact same information required for your one-pager, but they should give you a sense of what you might accomplish in design and visual effect.
Remember that YOUR one-pager should fill an entire 8.5”x11” page, use color and space thoughtfully (no blank white space!), and include the following information:
- title, author, year of publication
- 4-5 sentence summary of content
- 1 sentence describing the author’s purpose
- 2 important quotations (w/explanation of why they are important)
- pictures/drawings that visually symbolize the content of the text
